Now that we have one field trip under our belts, I'm happy to share that we have been given the opportunity to go skating, not once, not twice, but FOUR times in the next 2 months.
Here are the dates: January 18, January 29, February 18 and March 3
Timing: leave Dewson @ 9:15
skate 10:00-11:00
arrive back @ Dewson ~ 11:45 (lunch)
This special opportunity is being provided to all the grade 1 classes by the Parent Council. Thanks!
Today you are receiving a permission form with the information for you and a yellow page to send back. Please note there are two sides to this form. The regular permission form to sign, and a questionnaire on the back so that we know about equipment needs. Please return this form by Jan. 14 at the latest!
As you can imagine, I will need a LOT of help getting 20 kids into skates and helping them out on the ice. Adults who come on the ice need to be wearing skates and a helmet, just like the kiddos.
